The Art a Catalyst for Change program by the Bronx Museum of the Arts provides arts programming for youth in New York neighborhoods most affected by gun violence, allowing them to express their feelings and create community through the arts. June is Gun Violence Awareness Month, an effort to raise awareness surrounding the issue of needless and senseless gun violence in New York’s communities.

I worked alongside Artist Lady K Fever with students from MS. 301 in the Bronx. Our students presented projects throughout the museum including a peaceful protest using hand-painted T-shirts and banners, a mural, messages on canvas and more.
